Biblical Questions and Observations
66
I proclaim myself to be a Christian, in saying I believe in God, and I believe He sent His only son, Jesus, to be crucified for my iniquities and sin, that I may not die and forever be punished for my behavior on earth during this physical life. I believe, according to scriptures in The Bible, that Jesus Christ was dead for three days, resurrected, and ascended into heaven after acquiring the keys to death and hell during the short time he was humanly dead on earth. But, because of my human nature, and my unwilling habit to use logic, I cannot help but examine The Bible, the only tool Christians have to base our faith and develop a relationship with God, and wonder about certain things that are contained in it. I invite anyone reading this to comment with answers, general thoughts, any and all insight on any of the subjects touched on by this discussion. This is a list, in no particular order of favoritism, of verses and passages that caught my attention, taken straight out of the good book itself. I will be using examples from the King James version, since it's the one I was raised with during my years of church-going. Enjoy...

So there you have it, a very short list of the many, many different thoughts and seemingly, imperfections, of the only physical proof of Christianity left behind on earth. When I discovered these and did the research it left me with kind of a "huh..." feeling, and I'm more than positive it did the same to every reader of this list. There are many unexplained wonders, and The Bible very well may be at the top of that list. I hope this list doesn't deter anyone away from any beliefs or cause too much thought input. After all, Proverbs 3:5 commands us to "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
